Top Notch Gents

One of my pet peeves is people saying "methodology" when they mean "method". A method is how you do something. Methodology is the study of methods.
So when Kevin says "there are other methodologies you can bring in to say, 'Can we see something different?'" that's the wrong word. It's "there are other methods you can bring in..." It's such a common error that I ought to shut up about it, but I can't let it go.

So in say, a scientific experiment, the methodology would be the study of what methods you're going to use to investigate whatever the object of investigation is.
